Class Levels & Weekly Training

Tavria offers progressive Ukrainian dance training designed to grow with our dancers. As dancers advance through the program, their weekly training time increases and may include both Ukrainian dance instruction and ballet technique specifically incorporated to support Ukrainian dance.

Sadochok — 45 minutes per week
Beginner — 1 hour per week
Junior — 1.5 hours per week

Intermediate — 3 hours per week over 2 days
• Ukrainian dance technique & choreography
• Ballet technique for Ukrainian dance

Tavrianka — 3.5 hours per week over 2 days
• Ukrainian dance technique & choreography
• Ballet technique for Ukrainian dance

Academy — 5 hours per week over 2 days
• Ukrainian dance technique & choreography
• Ballet technique for Ukrainian dance

Ensemble — 6.5 hours per week over 3 days
• Ukrainian dance technique & choreography
• Ballet technique for Ukrainian dance

Adults — 1.25 hours per week

The Tavria Experience

Tavria is more than a weekly dance class. Our dancers are part of a comprehensive Ukrainian dance program supported by experienced instructors, dedicated facilities and a strong community.

Depending on program level, dancers benefit from:

• A collaborative instructional team of 5+ experienced instructors

• Dedicated studio space maintained for Tavria programming

• Studio equipment and ongoing facility improvements

• Festival registration fees covered for applicable levels

• Out-of-town festival registration fees covered for eligible levels

• Administrative support for registrations, communications, performances and events

• Respect in Sport training for parents and dancers to support a positive and respectful environment

Keeping Our Program Affordable Through Bingo Fundraising

Tavria’s tuition fees are intentionally subsidized through charitable gaming revenue. For applicable program levels, registration includes a recommended number of bingo shifts based on the dancer’s level.

Families may complete the recommended bingo shifts or choose the applicable Bingo Opt-Out Fee. Bingo proceeds help Tavria support eligible program expenses and maintain the opportunities and facilities available to our dancers.
