Tavria proudly presents Rhythms of Ukraine - A celebration marking 50 years of performance, culture, and community all connected by a love of Ukrainian dance, at the Regina Performing Arts Centre Saturday June 21st at 7pm.
This production features a cast of 28 Academy & Tavrianka 2 dancers. They are performing reimagined classics & new choreography in this two-part show.
The show will take the audience on a journey through the diverse regions of Ukraine. Each dance tells a story — one of resilience, celebration, and the spirit of the Ukrainian people.
Joining the dancers in this production is the Tavria Orchestra, under the direction of Vlad Tsymbal. With their dynamic live accompaniment and featured musical sections, the orchestra brings a rich depth to the production. You will watch dynamic sets and vibrant costumes transform the stage into a living canvas.
